LaPOST Nursing Facility Education Series
The LaPOST Coalition will launch a statewide project next month designed to educate nursing facility staff about advance care planning and the Louisiana Physician Orders for Scope of Treatment (LaPOST) document. Beginning with a kick-off meeting Sept. 9 in Baton Rouge, the project will assist facilities with incorporating this planning into existing facility operations so they can become LaPOST Ready. The workshop will feature a special overview, educational videos and training materials for participants to bring back to their facilities. For more information and to register for the Baton Rouge event, click here. Additional meeting dates/locations will be announced in upcoming issues of eNews.
