Advance Care Planning Documents

In Louisiana, there are three types of advance care planning documents available. These include the LaPOST document, the advance directive, or 'living will,' and the health care power of attorney. An overview and comparison of each of these documents may be found in the LaPOST Handbook for Health Care Professionals.
